What does CSR mean to The Big Event Company?
‘Essentially, CSR is the deliberate inclusion of public interest into corporate decision-making, and the honouring of a triple bottom line: People, Planet, Profit.
The Big Event Company takes an ethical approach and embrace responsibility for the impact of our activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities and stakeholders’.
We expect to act in a socially responsible manner at all times. As standard, we consider the social and environmental impact of the events we design for you which drives the decisions and choices we make.
This includes (but isn’t limited to) using suppliers local to the venue, using recycled or reusable office and event material and/or equipment, supporting local and national charities, offering employment to internships, proactively help team members develop career skills, including
Our intention is to become certified to ISO20121 (a management system standard designed to help organisations in the events industry improve the sustainability of their event related activities, products and services).
