Values Day
Their Requirements
World Pay came to us because they had already experienced what we could achieve on a previous project.
Having acquired the payments and transactions business from a very traditional financial institution, World Pay were moving offices from London to Manchester. A combination of a growing team and the challenges of staff relocation meant there were many new faces to integrate into the team.
The senior management team saw the opportunity of a new modern office, a new team and a new business outlook to create a new way of working. They wanted an engaging and hands-on event, something that would transform the office space and leave a lasting memory for delegates. A key focus was placed on values centred around ‘a nice place to work’ and ‘promoting strong internal working relationships’ whilst also creating a ’moment in time’ to cherish.
Our Involvement
This event was scheduled for the first day in the new office to follow a few motivational words from the boss. We worked on the creative development around the theme of a momentous once in a lifetime experience. In teams of eight, the group kicked off the day with the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS Team Challenge. There were a number of official attempts which included setting a new official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title.
With spirits high, we delivered a collaborative challenge. The group worked together to create a giant rollercoaster structure that when completed, transported a ball around the whole room using only gravity.
The next stage of the day saw the entire group create their corporate logo using individuals as the pixels in the image. We photographed it from a great height and presented World Pay with a lasting memory of team cohesion and the knowledge that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
The day concluded with networking drinks and an opportunity to reflect on the adventure taken over the last few years and to focus on the business journey ahead.

The Results
The team left the event inspired, engaged and enthused which was exactly the required state originally requested. Delegate feedback was overwhelmingly positive about the whole day with plenty of praise from the key sponsors of the event.
